Requirements of Partnership Providers:
All participating programs must meet relevant standards, including Department of Early Education and Care Preschool Standards for public schools or other programs exempt from EEC licensing standards, or EEC standards for programs subject to licensure. In addition, programs receiving CPC funding must meet the following criteria according to program type:
Center Based Programs (including licensed center-based, public schools, Head Start, and private schools) must have:
• NAEYC accreditation; OR in self study process
Family Child Care Providers (System Affiliated or Independent): must have
• Child Development Associate credential OR NAFCC accreditation; OR Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS in any subject, with specialized training in early education)
